Opel Astra OPC is still heavily camouflaged

One of the first cars spotted this year at the Nurburgring was the 2012 Opel Astra OPC.
Even if it's a little hard to observe, this camouflaged car has large Brembo brakes and dual exhaust pipes at each end of the rear bumper.
At the end of last year in Paris at the auto show, Opel presented an Astra OPC/VXR concept as an introduction on what the new Astra generation will look like. The concept car had a stark-looking front fascia with LED daytimers and a prominent rear wheel arches with 21-inch wheels all around.
The same car had a very similar engine with the 2012 Astra OPC. That means a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit with an output of 290 PS (213 kW / 286 bhp). The gearbox will be a six-speed manual transmission presiding over the transfer of power to the front axle with a limited slip differential.
In the end it doesn't look so bad.
