Audi presents a more improved A8 luxury saloon

A more improved version of the long wheelbase A8 luxury saloon was revealed by Audi. This model was created with broadband Internet, using long term evolution technology (LTE). The data transfer speeds up to 100Mbps. The current 3G connections are only good for transfers of about 14.4Mbps.
Alcatel-Lucent communication specialists worked in collaboration with Audi and this is how the A8 prototype was created. The 4G technology looks poised to replace the Global System of Mobile communications and the Universal Mobile Telecommunications Standard systems that underpin the current 3G.
Apparently Audi declared that LTE technology will be used in cars by early 2011 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. This technology offers the possibility of uploading and downloading large amounts of data in a short time with a reliable internet access.
