Honda postpones the launch of Fit Shuttle because of the Japan quake

As we have previously mentioned, Honda and other industrial giants were seriously affected by the Japan quake. Thus, the launch of the new Fit Shuttle has been postponed as its premiere was planned to take place this month. Details concerning the new release remain unknown, but the company is going announcements on the matter soon. Known as the Jazz in Europe and other international markets, the new Fit Shuttle appears to be about 510mm larger than the hatchback. With a conventional 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and a hybrid variant integrating a 1.3-liter gasoline unit and a 10 kW electric motor, the car model will be available on the Japanese market featuring this engine lineup which is similar to the hatchback model. The retail prices in Japan will start from 1.81 million Yen for the hybrid version and 1.61 million Yen for the gasoline engine model.
