A fresh statement lets us know, that Holden is preparing competition for the Ford Focus ST and Mazda3 MPS, by developing a Cruze SS.
We don't have a lot of information, but what we do know is that the car will be accessible in four-and-five-door body designs. In 2010 at the SEMA Motor Show, Cruze Z-Spec concept was unveiled and there is a possibility for the SS to look a little like that.
It's not sure yet, but a 2.0-liter turbocharged is expected to provide the power and will develope 290 PS (213 kW / 286 hp).
The car is scheduled to include a sport-tuned suspension and an adjusted steering system.
The Holden Cruze SS will be unveiled this year, but first it could be presented at the Australian International Motor Show.
