Well, incredible or not, it's true. A Toyota 2000GT was auctioned on eBay with a starting price of "$650,000".
Everything began in 1969 when, Peter Starr from southern Maine started selling Toyotas. Not a long time ago, he became very passionate about putting his hands on one car like this and he finally did, in the '70.
The man has great experience with the 2000GTs as during all this time he owned or restored 50 of the total of 62 cars that were imported into the U.S.
It's no mystery now, the way Starr got its own car.
The lucky winner of the supercar also gets the original books, manuals, tools and documentation and can use the car for long tours as it's in great shape, or he can just display it.
