Volkswagen decided to give everyone a lesson about sustainability, by presenting its new "Think Blue" concept. The goal is to decrease production costs and increase sales as it conserves resources in a very effective way.
Hubert Waltl, Member of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars Brand with responsibility for Production and Logistics, declared that now Volkswagen is trying to save energy, by keeping under observation the CO2 emissions and reduce the resources they use.
The vehicles presented are most of them environment-friendly and make visitors think about more mobility in the next years. An electronic vehicle, called the Bulli is celebrating its debut in Hanover. It has no emission and it's powered by an electric engine that receives power from a 40 kW lithium ion battery that allows a range of up to 300 km. The battery can be charged in maximum one hour.
At the Hannover Messe a total of 6,500 exhibitors from 65 countries are presenting their "work of art". This showcase is one of the largest events having as themes, new technology.
