Jeep Wrangler is no longer accepted in China

Normally when any kind of problem is signaled referring to a vehicle, well then the automaker has to do a recall. This is how things should go. For example, the cars produced under the wing of American carmakers are under very serious surveillance by the Chinese market as complains came according to which cars just burst into flames for no apparent reason.
After a lot of investigations the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine prohibited the imports of Jeep Wranglers.
The problem seems to be at the automatic transmission and related systems. It's good that Chrysler does not deny this problem, but declares that is a common one at this kind of vehicles and it has as cause a leak of transmission fluid and this could be the reason for the fire. Those incidents obliged the carmaker to start a recall at the beginning of last year and the 2008, 2009 and 2010 model-year Jeep Wranglers were involved.
It's all good because Chrysler and China's Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine are in great terms and for sure problems will be solved as soon as possible.
