2012 Cadillac SRX will have a new engine

Starting this week you can purchase the E85 ethanol as the Cadillac team announced. The model has a 3.6-liter engine that produces 300 hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The current engine delivers 265 hp and 223 lb.-ft. of torque. The pricing will be revealed closer to the official debut of the car. The idea is to increase power in front of the Lexus RX350.
The SRX, according to Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac marketing, has a special design of a Cadillac and an engine that will make the SRX better than it was before at entering freeways from on-ramps and climbing hills.
The model is available in two wheel drive versions and all-wheel-drive and the latter is equipped with an electronic limited slip back differential.
The SRX also has traditional features like Bluetooth phone connectivity, door lock switches on the driver and passenger door panels and heated steering wheel and it will give a new machined-face finish on the 20-inch wheels.
