General Motors' Australian Subsidiary has in mind a few edition models and it will start with the update of the Thunder for the VE Series ll Ute line-up. The main reason is to celebrate 60 years since the 1951 Holden Ute appeared. The package includes additional equipment and bespoke styling cues that cost around $3,000. The model has 19-inch alloy wheels, satellite navigation, leather seat bolsters and Thunder badges. It has a 3.6-liter V6 SIDI engine that produces 282 horsepower and has a six-speed manual transmission and optional six-speed automatic. Holden Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales John Elsworth declared that they are very optimistic about this model and that it will be a success for sure. Next week, in Australia the Thunder Ute will go on sale and the price for the SV6 manual is AUS$39,900. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
