It is time for the CTS-V Coupe race car to get in a competition

The 2011 Sports Car Club of American World Challenge season is close and Long Beach is where everything will happen with Cadillac Racing's presence. Last month the CTS-V Coupe race car was presented by Cadillac in St. Petersburg after 4 years of pause for the carmaker.
The driver is Johnny O'Connel that it's with Cadillac Racing starting this year. He is sixth in the World Challenge GT Series and Andy Pilgrim, Cadillac's first World Challenge Driver's Championship in 2005, is eleventh. This means second for the company in the Manufacturer's point standings in the World Challenge GT Series.
The Coupe race cars are based on the Coupe production car produced at General Motor's Lansing, Mich., Grand River assembly plant and it has a 6.2-liter V-8 that delivers 556 horsepower and Magnetic Ride Control suspension system and Brembo brakes.
The development of the car was a very quick one and this is why the excitement of the competition at the end of this week, in Long Beach is even greater.
The race will last 50 minutes top and at the World Challenge will participate the most well known carmakers in the world.
