2012 Chrysler 300 SRT will be presented today at the NYIAS

Apparently surprises are never over when Chrysler is in the middle. Its last model shown was the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and now here comes another one.
Today at the 2011 New York Auto Show, the 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 will have its debut. The model has a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that produces 465 horsepower and an increase in power in comparison with the old model of 40 horsepower. It has a five-speed automatic transmission.
The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in over 4 seconds and can go for 400 meters in 13 seconds.
The 300 SRT8 has a 14.2-inch front rotors and 13.8-inch discs at the rear and weights only 1,835 kg. Also if we discussed about the acceleration time, well, it's important to know that the sedan can stop from 100 km/h to 0 km/h in only 36.5 meters.
Here comes the more complicated part, the fuel consumption. As a surprise the new 300 SRT actually is more fuel efficient in comparison with the old model and the car has Adaptive Damping Suspension that sets up the suspension in any situation.
On the inside the car has leather seats and heated steering wheel. It also has an Electronic Vehicle Information Center and a large 8.4-inch LCD screen.
The Chrysler team is confident that the new model will have success with the public and hopes that in the future the customers that will want to be first will choose Chrysler 300 SRT8.
