A new engine is prepared for the Mercedes E 63 AMG

Yesterday Mercedes-Benz declared that AMG presented a new engine on the new E 63 AMG as part of a long time strategy. The model now features a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that is used by the CLS 63 AMG.
The great engine has the capacity of developing 525 horsepower to 557 horsepower and in the same time the fuel consumption is actually very low, just 9.8l/100 km. It's a little strange how fuel consumption is much lower on the E 63 AMG than expected.
The car will have an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission and this way the acceleration of the car can reach 4.3 seconds and a 250 km/h to speed.
The engine is not the only one that's been under modification. The exterior and interior of the car also were "affected". The model has new light-alloy wheels and "V8 BITURBO" lettering that lets people now it's a special car.
Also at the interior has a new steering wheel and E-SELECT shift lever with the badge of AMG.
Mercedes-Benz Company made an announcement regarding the price. So in Europe you will find it from EUR105,971 for the salon version and EUR108,409 for the estate. For the ones interested, it's important to know that AMG offers an AMG Performance package that will cost an extra EUR8,306 and EUR3, correspondingly.
