Nissan Motor Kyushu is a new company created by Nissan

A new company will be established to run the Kyushu Plant, one of Nissans most important facilities in Japan.
The current manager of the facility, Yukinobu Kodama, will run the new Nissan Motor Kyushu. This decision is related to an event that happened back in October 2010. Nissan wanted to create a framework that would have given the company a great start, but the All Nissan Motors Workers Union didn't agree. Nissan is facing serious decisive moments as the demand for electric vehicles is increasing along with the concern about the environmental issues.
In the present at the new created facility Nissan is buiding the Serena, Teana, Lafesta, X-TRAIL, Dualis, Lamera, Rogue and Murano. Each year 430,000 units will be manufactured and 3,760 people will do all these.
Nissan's secret for success stands in competitiveness and the power of producing compact vehicles in the future and the new Nissan Motor Kyushu is a first big step in becoming what they want.
