The Taiwanese automaker Luxgen impressed the audience of the Shanghai Auto Show, which took place in April 21-28, by revealing a new concept model for an all-electric sedan, called the Neora. The automaker's automobile range currently includes two models, the Luxgen7 SUV and the Luxgen7 MPV. They aimed to preview a future design language together with the proof that the firm possessed technological prowess. Being capable of completing the 0-100 km/h sprint in no more than 6.5 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h, Luxgen also informs that Neora features a weight of 3,527 pounds or 1,600 kg. Furthermore, an electric motor with 180 kW that drives the front wheels, propels the plug-in four-door sedan. Offering a driving range of around 248 miles or 400 kilometers on a single charge, a 48 kWh lithium-ion battery set feeds the electric motor. James Shyr, the company's Vice President announced that the Neora perfectly represented Luxgen's brand spirit of Think Ahead and the new form of appearance would be the design cues for LUXGEN's upcoming models in the future. He added the novelty of LUXGEN's energy saving future technologies was enhanced by the innovation of lightweight, as well as the fuel economy.
