General Motors has a new and powerful market in China. Not long ago Buick surpassed the 3 million mark in sales only in China. So it's clear, this is the biggest market so far. Only last year, sales increased with 23% by selling 550,000 units. Just for comparison, last year in the U.S. there were sold 155,289 units. In China there are more than 400 stores with Buick models like the Regal, Enclave and La Crosse. There are also some cars that are "like home" there, the Opel Astra-based Excelle XT, the GL8 MPV and the Holden Caprice. This year at the Shanghai Auto Show, the Evision SUV concept model had its debut and it was developed by Shanghai GM and the PATAC, and shows fans and possible clients what is Buick's plan for the future. General Motors was the country that delivered more than 1 million units in China last year. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
