Is Cadillac planning a Rolls-Royce competitor?

Despite the fact that the Cadillac XTS has not been revealed to the enthusiast public, details begin to surface about the car's bigger brother. It was rumored that the competitor for the Mercedes S-Class is scheduled for launch in 2014 as a 2015 model. It is said that the car will ride on a bespoke rear-wheel drive Omega platform, offering a six- and eight-cylinder engine. Unfortunately, no other specific information was released. With an all-wheel drive which is likely to be optional, a hybrid is also expected to hit the car market, while other rumors announce that an ultra-luxury sedan will be produced so that it could be a powerful competitor against the Rolls-Royce phantom. The car model is not likely to enter production, but it could be a concept that would recapture the magic of the Sixteen concept.
