The V8 was designed after the Prince made a suggestion. He said he thinks it would be better to keep the V8 Volante withVantage power, but to eliminate the aggressive looks f the Vantage. Only 25 units were built this way and have the name of V8 Vantage Volante "Prince of Wales".
The first one is a 1968 DB6 Mki Volante that is very possible to sell for GBP210,000-240,000.
The DB6 was presented for the first time in 1965 as an update of the DB5. The total number of DB6s created reaches 1,575 and they were all built between 1965 and 1970.
