The new Cruze Hatchback is under supervision

The Cruze Series ll Sedan was revealed in March and GM's Holden division declared that now the five-door hatchback version of the subcompact model will be tested to be sure everything will be in order for the official debut in a few months.
The company declared that what they see in the Cruze hatch is actually an undercover concept car. The production model had its introduction on the market at the Geneva Saloon this year. The only thing different between a Chevrolet version and the Cruze hatch is the front grille and bumper designs.
The engine will not be a problem as it will be the same with the Cruze ll sedan, 2.0-liter turbo diesel that develops 161 horsepower and 360 Nm of peak torque.
This is one engine option. Another one includes a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline unit and a 1.8-liter gasoline unit, both producing 138 horsepower.
The new model will be built in Adelaide, GM'S Port Elisabeth plant and the first models will appear in just a few months.
