If Porsche 911 GT3 and BMW M3 GTS don't look or feel like rivals, well I think it's time to take a closer look and see the real thing. It's true they have the same power outputs and two door coupes that were created for the track.
Porsche GT3 has a 3.8-liter engine with 6-cylinder. This lack of power makes the difference. The BMW M3 GTS has a 4.4-liter V6 engine that produces 450 bhp at 8,300 rpm and 440 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm.
Concerning speed, well, the 911 GT3 can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 312 km/h. On the other hand, the M3 GTS can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds and can achieve a maximum speed of 305 km/h.
If you take a look at the numbers it's clear. The 911 could win in a competition with the M3 GTS, but if you put both cars on track, it's a different situation.
