Superchips engineers created a power kit for the MINI Cooper S R56

The Superchips engineers created a power kit for the MINI Cooper S R56 and presented the second part today. The models that can benefit from the Superchips' phase 2 ECU are the models built after March 1st, 2010. Another condition is referring to the engine. It needs to have a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 181 bhp that produces 184 PS.
The results obtained after installing the Superchips MINI Cooper S R56 kit are very generous. The model will gain 32 Nm extra at 3765 rpm so that means extra 3000-6000 rpm and also 25 bhp at 5444 rpm as well.
The best thing of all is the fuel consumption. With all the horsepower added, the fuel consumption of the MINI Cooper S remains the same at 48 mpg.
The price of the ECU designed for the MINI Cooper S R56 is around 455.00 GBP. One other advantage of the package is that it offers a 12 month full vehicle service contract.
