Porsche revealed the electric Boxster

Porsche presented today a great deal of details about their electric vehicle Boxster E. The car will show face at the Michelin Challenge Bibendum in Berlin. The engine of the car is a mid-size one and has four wheel-drive variants.
The engine is electric and develops 90 kW and 270 Nm of torque. One of the versions, the rear-wheel-drive one can speed from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 150 km/h.
The other version, the four-wheel-drive of the Boxster E actually has two electric engines. They were created one for each axle. The total energy developed is 180 kW and 540 Nm of torque.
The engine speed, according to the Porsche team, reaches 12,000 rpm. The AWD Boxster E is really a very powerful car and so it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds and can reach 200 km/h top speed.
With the setup Porsche created for the Boxster the model has a range of 170 km/h and a weight of 1,600 kg. Again, according to the carmaker, the vehicle needs, for a full re-charge of the battery, around nine hours.
