BMW will have a 2012 generation 3-Series

BMW announced that production will stop for the 3-Series Sedan in October this year. The reason is that next year, somewhere in the spring, BMW will present its new generation. Now it makes sense.
These next models will be made on modular platform and will get a new redesign. You might wander, in what way? Well, if you take a quick look at the 5 Series you could get half an answer. I'm not saying it will look just like that. In fact it will have more brutal lines and also a wider and lower kidney grille. If this is not enough, the wheelbase will be 1.5 inches longer than the generation we now have on the market.
The dimensions of the car remain the same, because it's already sport-looking. Now, with the coupes and convertibles, there's another story. These models will have a new design, but this could only be a good thing.
The engine will have 6-cylinder motors, 4-cylinder motors and why not, maybe a 3-cylinder motor. The technologies used will be the latest ones.
Very soon we can confirm all these.
