A performance version of the Cadillac ATS V was announced

Things move rather fast in the Cadillac house. A new version of the Cadillac ATS will soon appear. It's not sure yet, but a station wagon version could be on the list. What it's sure are the coupe, convertibles and sedan versions that will be ready to enter the European market. Also a V version of the car is on its way.
The ATS-V will feature a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that will be capable of delivering 380 horsepower. The model will have manual and automatic 6-speed gearboxes. The new generation model will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in less than 5 seconds and can speed up to 170 mph.
The construction of the ATS will happen in Michigan at GM's Lansing Grand River. This factory actually received $ 190 million just to change the platform, from the Sigma to the new rear-drive one.
There will be no problems for the coupe version because of its formal roofline. At least few good news for the carmaker.
