Audi presents a special version of the A1

At these year's Wortthesee show a lot of Volkswagen and Audi fans will be present and so Audi will try to make a nice entrance by presenting to the fans a specially build model. We're talking about a great version of the A1. The clubsport quarto features a 2.5 TFSI engine that after the upgrade can produce 503 horsepower between 2,500 and 5,300 rpm and 660 Nm of torque.
This model only weights 1,390 kilograms and with the 500 horsepower, well I guess it's not a joke.
The Audi engineers declared that the model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.9 seconds. Well, about the top speed we know it can run up to 350 km/h even though the Quattro is limited to 250 km/h. The model has a six-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive.
To be able to control the power, the carmaker gave its model bigger brakes, new suspension and it's now more aerodynamic. The Audi A1 clubsport is actually wider that the factory version and it has polymer fiber-reinforced roof. Also the model features new spoiler in the front that has large air intakes, new side skirts and grille and last but not least, a gigantic roof wing.
On the inside there were made a lot of modifications and now you can find a lot of leather, stainless steel and many parts made of carbon fiber.
