The German carmaker, Volkswagen, revealed yesterday a new concept, the Golf R Cabriolet, together with some special editions.
The concept car has a 2.0 TSI petrol engine. This means the Golf R Cabriolet can deliver 199 kW / 270 PS and 350 Nm of torque from 2,500 rpm. With this power the car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.0 seconds and could go up to 250 km/h. Analyzing the numbers, we can definitely declare that this model is the fastest open-top Golf ever made.
To reach this record, the carmaker had to lower the ride height with 25 mm. Also it has 17 inch internally ventilated brake discs on all wheels, 19 inch Talladega alloy wheels with 235 tires and of course the R logo was added on the blue clippers.
Let's stop a little at the interior of the car. It has leather bucket seats in the front, aluminum door sill plates, black piano paint inlays and carbon fiber inserts.
It sounds and looks like a car you could handle.
