Volkswagen unwraps two more Golf R concepts

The Golf concepts are not missing from this week's annual Worthersee Tour in Austria, thus bringing further enjoyment to its fans. The Golf R Cabriolet and the Golg GTI Cabriolet have already been shown to the enthusiast public, but two more studies, which were based on the flagship Golf R hatchback, have been unwrapped. Being created to demonstrate the numerous customization possibilities, the two Golf R concepts made their international debut at the Geneva Salon this past March. The first concept boasts carbon mirror caps, orange painted brake calipers, polished 19-inch "Talladega" alloy wheels, as well as a mid-tone "Velvet Grey Metallic", while the interior is defined by style and refinement provided by a set of two-tone motorsport seats featuring a shell finished in a black piano paint, the steering wheel integrating carbon fiber accents, the gear shift lever and the door sill plates. Coming equipped with 19-inch "Glendale" wheels that are announced to be new to the Golf line-up, the second Golf R Color Concept is painted in "Aplomb Blue", also featuring exterior mirror caps, interior accents together with door sill plates which were made of carbon. Motorsports seats are also available with the slight difference being in the color options.
