The 2012 Buick Regal GS has now more power

If you ever had the impression that the 2012 Buick Regal GS was too slow, well, those days are over. Buick offered the model a very important power improvement.
The car continues to be powered by the Ecotec 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinderengine with direct injection. What changed are actually the horsepower delivered and that means it now produces 270 and 295 lb. ft. of torque between 2300 and 4900 rpm.
With this upgrade, the model becomes a really good acquisition as it can easily win a race against an Acura TSX V6, an Audi A4 Sport or a Lexus IS250 and against a Volvo S60 T5.
The new performance features are possible thanks to variable valve trimming, a forged steel crankshaft, and a twin scroll turbo. The rest of the equipment of the 2012 Buick Regal GS contains Interactive Drive Control System chassis technology and this was implemented to increase the stability of the model. Also it includes a special High Performance Strut front suspension and other four-link independent back ones.
The carmaker gave the model an active Computer Damping Control, the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, an anti-lock brake system, and Brembo front brake calipers with four pistons.
The price for the great improved car is still unknown.
