New Chevrolet Colorado roughens up with Double-Cab Rally concept

The Chevrolet Colorado Rally Concept is going to make its international debut at this year's Buenos Aires Motorshow, thus announcing one of the most important events for GM. The Chevrolet Cobalt concept is also making its public debut. Earlier this year, at the Bangkok International Auto Show, the enthusiast public could admire the Colorado as single-cab concept truck. Fitted with an adjustable suspension that allows the driver to increase the ride height by 5 inches, special acrylic windows, tow winches and a bevy of off-road components and accessories such as the front and rear bumper hooks, make up the Argentine study which is a double-cab racing version. A 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine powers the Colorado Rally Concept and it is mated to an all-wheel drive system, riding on massive 18-inch machined aluminum wheels that appear to be shod in 305/60 R18 tires. The production version of the new Colorado in both single- and double-cab formats is expected to make a debut later this year.
