A C63 AMG model was the instrument Mauro Calo used to break a world record

Mauro Calo, a Mercedes-Benz driver wanted to break a world record for the longest car drift. A lot of fans were very intrigued and were very curious to see if he could do it or not. Apparently it was not a problem for the demo driver and so, using a C63 AMG managed to reach his objective.
The event took place at the Handling Circuit at Mercedes-Benz World Weybridge Surrey last weekend and the sliding went going for 2,308 meters. There is no doubt about entering in the Guinness Book of World Records as the previous record is 394 meters.
As mentioned above, the car used is a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG with a 6.3-liter V8 engine that is able to develop 451 horsepower. This capacity can be improved with the AMG Development Package and the model can then reach 481 horsepower.
In a recent declaration from one of the carmakers employees, the new record set by Mauro Calo is not a surprise as along his career, the driver managed to impress a lot of people with his driving skills.
