BMW attempts to spiff up 5-Series GT with M Sport Package

The image of a vehicle that looks similar to a BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo can be easily improved with the help of an M Sports package, despite the fact that this option is not appropriate for a model that was launched less than two years ago. In the picture gallery below, you are going to see some spy photographs revealing the 5-Series GT incorporating the M Sports treatment. The photos were taken in Germany and one can notice the larger alloy wheels in a different design, the deeper side skirts together with new lower front and rear bumpers. Most enthusiasts expect minor tweaks in the interior, such as a three-spoke steering wheel, aluminum pedals and door sills, sports seats, as well as bespoke upholstery and headlining as it is the case with most M Sports Packages. As far as the powertrains are concerned, no modifications are expected to take place to the 5-Series GT, except for a mechanical improvement that deals with a lowered sports suspension.
