VW created a Temporary Auto Pilot system

Volkswagen is on the wave with its new Temporary Auto Pilot system. The carmaker revealed its new technological achievement during the EU research project Highly Automated Vehicles for Intelligent Transport.
What can it do exactly? Well, it can drive the car almost by itself at a top speed of 130 mph on motorways. Also is able to keep a safe distance from the vehicle in the front, drives at the speed the driver selects, it can break itself before a bend as much as possible and the most important, it keeps the car on the selected lane so there is no danger for the rest of the participants in the traffic.
We say almost, because the Volkswagen engineers declared that the car still needs to be monitored by the driver. The carmaker sees this model as a connection between the technology that exists today regarding the assistance systems and the one in the future when we won't need assistance at all.
