Aston Martin organized an auction to help Japan

Dr. Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin's CEO announced a few weeks ago that will auction off his company car at the Bonhams event. The vehicle in question was a 2009 "Concours Blue" Rapide.
The new owner is David Linely, furniture designer and an Aston Martin fan. He had to pay GBP 100,000 for the model and the money was given to Toyota who can direct it better to charities that involve the people that had the misfortune of being in the way of the earthquakes and Tsunami in Japan.
The Aston Martin team wants to be as close as possible to these people and help as they can, offering financial and moral support. The money was given to the Japanese carmaker because they know better which are the most affected and who needs their help the most.
