Japan can consider itself lucky as the sales for the new facelifted Mazda Demio have started. The other name you can find for this model is Mazda2. The company appreciated the sales around 6,000 units per month.
The differences between this model and the one before are related to the mirror styling details, the bodyshell, the suspensions that were retuned and the quality of the materials.
The model has a 13-Skyactive engine which according to the engineers it has the best fuel-consumption in its class, around 30km/lit. This is possible by incorporating direct fuel injection, the highest compression ever of 14.1:1 and the original stop-start system. The car has a lot of other features like Dynamic Stability Control with Traction Control System and 14-inch wheels made of alloy.
The company expects to have a lot of success with this 13-Skyactive engine.
