Audi RS 3 and BMW 1 M Coupe were rivals for a few moments

One of the big recent questions is about the compact sport model segment. Which model is more representative? Is it the Audi RS3 Sportback or the BMW 1 M Coupe?
Ingolstadt was thinking about a five-door model that has the looks of a small station wagon. It has a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five that is able to deliver 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque and it's connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Munich also has a proposal. It was thinking of a model with a coupe body style, with a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine able to deliver 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque to the back wheels using a 6-speed manual transmission.
Autoexpress, British car magazine, decided to find out which one of the two German models is the best in straight line. The winner, as expected was the Audi RS3.
