VW prepares the Golf VII

The 2012 Geneva Auto Show will have the honor to present the Golf VII. The German carmaker, Volkswagen is working on it now and will present it in March 2012. By the end of that year we will have the opportunity to see it on the streets.
The changes made to this model are not very visible as they are all made under the hood. For example, the wheelbase is now longer, and the platform of the car has a new design.
The cars' features include a larger booth than Ford Focus and Renault Megane, its direct rivals and also the passengers traveling in the back will have even more space for their legs.
Very soon there will be available a wide range of TSI turbocharged and supercharged editions. Between these are a 2.0-liter unit that will be able to deliver 300 horsepower and a 1.2-liter engine that develops 65 horsepower. There had to be a surprise as well so, the carmaker will present the e-Bluemotion, an electric version that will have a 1.6-liter and a 2.0-liter engine and also a plug-in hybrid.
Almost all the models will transmit the power through a 6-speed manual transmission.
