Toyota presented the 2012 Hilux facelift

Toyota took all the attention yesterday presenting the 2012 Hilux facelift. The carmaker also declared that the model will be available in Europe, Australia and in a lot of other places as well. The 2.5 D-4D and the 3.0 D-4D engines now are equipped with Diesel Particulate Filter and this makes it EURO V compliant.
Next years' model is more durable, it's there for you in the worst of the conditions and it has more quality to offer. On the inside you will find a new upper dashboard and a 6.1'', full color, touch screen multimedia unit, from Toyota.
The outside "suffered" a lot of changes in the front. The front bumper, headlamps, radiator grille, and bonnet were all modified. The 2012 Hilux has now side mirrors 15'' and 17'' steel and alloy wheels.
The trim levels available are: DLX, DLX+, SR and SR+. The engine available for the DLX+ is a 2.5 D-4D with a manual gear box. Also, if you choose this configuration you can get a Single Cab, a Double Cab and Extra Cab. The other variant for the DLX+ is the 4WD 3.0 D-4D engine with a manual transmission. This last one is available only in the Double Car body design.
The 2.5-liter engine can deliver 144 horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 343 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. The fuel consumption is 7.3 l / 100 km and the CO2 emission level is 193 g / km.
The prices for the 2012 Toyota Hilux will soon be made public.
