Chevrolet Volt will only be available in a few months

Chevrolet is keeping their fans to wait a few more months until it reveals the Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle, because General Motors stopped the production.
The company has only 200 units available in total and Robert Peterson, GM spokesman declared that they are keeping them for the summer. The mystery for the wait is actually very simple. The automaker did a lot of upgrades to the Detroit-Hamtramck plant, which is changing the 2012 model year. The changes in question include increasing the number of Volt models and Opel Ampera and send them to export, but there are also a lot of different ones.
In September things will be a bit different. There will be plenty of units for all of you who really want to have one.
The price for the 2012 Chevrolet Volt starts at $ 39,995 adding the federal income tax , the car will be somewhere around $ 32,495 without it. The model has an engine capable of delivering 149 horsepower and 273 lb. ft. of torque. These figures indicate the fact that the car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 100 mph. For a full charge the battery needs 4 hours on 240 V.
