Ferrari wants to participate on the North American Grand AM series with its new 458 Italia Grand AM. .
The racing model was created in collaboration with Michelotto Automobili and has as base the European GT3 version of the 458 Italia. The difference is that it's less aerodynamic and also has a V8 engine that is capable of delivering 500 horsepower, all these because of the regulations in the American series.
The model has changed braking system as the car does not have ABSandr traction control.
If you want to continue with the differences between the GT3 and the 458 Italia it's important to mention the fact that the 458 has a stronger roll-over bar to resist to collisions and also it has Continental tires.
