Fiat gives the Panda Euro 5 engine

Fiat was declared again the car with the lowest average CO2 emissions. This was actually the fourth year. To continue on the same line, the carmaker decided to introduce an all-Euro 5 engine line-up across the Panda range in the U.K.
The standard engine (1.1-liter) was replaced by a 1.2.-liter Euro 5 one. This is capable of delivering 69 bhp and allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 13.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 101 mph. When it comes to fuel consumption, the Panda registers 57.6 mpg and the CO2 emission level is 113 g/km.
The 1.3-liter MultiJet turbodiesel can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 13.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 103 mph. The fuel consumption is 67.3 mpg and the CO2 emission level is 109 g/km.
The list with the features the entry-level Panda Active contains electric front windows, power steering, body colored bumpers and the original airbags, both for the passengers and the driver remain.
There are also the MyLife editions. These ones include alloy wheels, 12V power socket and remote central locking. The Dynamic trim adds body colored door mirrors and handles, air conditioning, roof bars, fog lights, MP3 player, split folding rear seats and pearlescent paint.
We can only say that the carmaker did a great job and hope it keeps up the good work.
