The diesel version of Chevrolet Cruze will be available for Americans

After analyzing a few surveys, and finding out that diesel-powered cars are very popular in America, General Motors decided to create a diesel version of the Chevrolet Cruze for the Americans. This will only be available on the market starting with 2013.
For example, only last year, in the U.S. were recorded 24,896 sales, so yes, it is a very good car people like. The new diesel Cruze will be part of the Cruze Eco with a standard six-speed manual gearbox that apparently it seems to be the most fuel-efficient gas-powered/non-hybrid car in America. The fuel consumption is 42 mpg on the highway.
So far the diesel version of the Cruze is only sold in Europe. The Americans still have to wait a little for the details they have to know for their market.
A member of the Toyota staff, Allen Schaeffer, Executive Director of the Diesel Technology Forum is looking forward into releasing the new diesel version of the Cruze n the American market and he's confident it will be a real success.
