Previewing the production model that is planned to follow by the end of the year, official photographs revealing the 2012 Honda CR-V concept have recently been posted on the Internet, raising rumors among its enthusiasts.
Back in June, an official announcement released by the Japanese carmaker spoke about a new generation of its popular compact crossover model, although Honda did not mention specific details on the vehicle, except that it would feature new possibilities together with a new design inside and out.
Analysing the pictures, one could notice that the car appears to very close to the actual production model, not expecting to see the concept's more dramatic elements, such as the contrasting lower trim in a black finish, the larger alloy wheels, the small exterior mirrors as well as the dark headlamp crystals. A mystery covers the inner works of the fourth-generation CR-V, but assumptions can be made. Thus, it may provide its customers both front- and four-wheel drive configurations together with a four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Until further details are revealed, feel free to share your opinions in the comments section below.
