A preview of the new generation 2012 CX5 was presented by Mazda. The model will have its world debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show on the 13th of September.
The crossover SUV features all the SKYACTIV technologies for the first time. Mazda KODO - Soul of Motion was the source of inspiration for the design. The sales for the CX5 will start at the beginning of next year.
The engines available are the petrol and diesel one and here are included the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter gasoline unit and the SKYACTIV-D 2.2-liter diesel unit that will have two power levels: Standard Power and High Power.
The CO2 emission level is indicating 120g/km for the 2012 CX5 SKYACTIV-D 2.2-liter, but we'll have more information in September at the premier.
