The Monterey auction event is getting closer and closer and it seems this year it will be at least as good as the one before. The model that makes the difference this year is one Ferrari 750 Monza. This car is one of the only 35 built and is estimated to fetch between $ 2.500.000 and $ 3.250.000. There is a great thing about it too. The 1955 vehicle appeared in a thriller called On the Beach, based on the doomsday novel by Nevil Shute Norway that was about the effects of the 3rd World War and that had as celebrities Fred Astair, Ava Gardner and Gregory Peck. The Ferrari received a 2011 inspection report by Brooke Betz of Newport Beach, California that said it was the "best 750 Monza I have ever seen". Well, we'll just see how it goes.
