Let's turn our thoughts towards Ford for a moment. The F-150 Harley-Davidson edition was presented by Ford 11 years ago, in 2000 with a standard engine. The next year the model received a 5.4-liter V8 supercharged engine. The 2012 model has more horsepower and torque that go very well with the new features ranging from wheels to interior appointments. So, it will have a 6.2-liter V8 engine that will be able to deliver 411 horsepower. The power is being sent to the wheels through an automatic transmission only, but it has SelectShift technology that eliminates computer intrusion in gear selection. On the outside it's another story; the modifications are more obvious. On top of them all are the Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo on the center cap. When it comes to the paint, the carmaker offers White Platinum Tri-Coat and for the interior it uses skin leather inserts and snakeskin leather seats. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
