The 2012 XKR-S will soon have a cabriolet version as well, as Jaguar is working on it. If everything goes according to plan, the model will go on sale in 2012. Now the model is being tested and we know this as it was spotted on the Nurburgring Nordschleife race track in Germany. The styling of the convertible XKR-S says a lot, as it will be full of attitude like the coupe model. It will have a vented hood, low front spoiler, rear boot lid wing and also the rear diffuser. The model will keep its engine as it has the same twin double exhaust pipes. The XKR-S cabriolet will have a canvas-top and the good thing is that it will be opened and closed automatically. The convertible Jaguar will feature a 5-liter supercharged V8 engine that will be able to deliver 550 PS and 680 Nm of torque. Having this power, the car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and can speed up to 186 mph. We don't know for sure yet, but, it's possible to see the same figures with the cabriolet version.
