The Converj concept from Cadillac, developed in 2009 is now called the ELR. The model will be a luxury, premium coupe and will be powered by an electric drivetrain. Not a lot of technical details were revealed so far even if the production process of the ELR continues. But what the carmaker did say was that the model will have a T-shaped lithium ion battery that will give power to an electric motor and also a four-cylinder combustion engine that will be used as a generator to extend the range of the batteries. As the model will be a personal luxury 2+2, only means that it won't have a lot of room left for the passengers traveling in the back, but it will be very comfortable, especially in long journeys. We are waiting for GM to release more information.
