Two McLaren MP4-12C GT3 will be the cars the Porsche specialists from Gemballa will enter the 2012 motorsport season. As a celebration they choose McLaren for this special moment for them. Steffen Korbach, Gemballa's owner decided to put Sascha Bert as manager of the new team. He is more than qualified thanks to its experience as a driver and instructor. He is also a former kart champion, Formula 3 and FIA GT driver.
The carmaker elected the two models as they've proven their potential as leaders and because they are young cars on the race track.
The MP4-12C GT3 has a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that revs up to 7500 rpm and it's linked with a bespoke 6-speed sequential transmission.
The drivers of two cars are still a mystery, but they will be made public a little bit later.
