The price list for the V12 Zagato was revealed today by Aston Martin. The carmaker also announced the premiere of the road-going version of the model at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. The ones present at the event, not only they will see the street version of the Zagato, but also as the carmaker itself says, "the largest display of contemporary Aston Martins ever seen". The model had its world premiere at the Villa D-Este Concours, in Italy on Lake Como. Also it was tested on the Nurburgring race track in Germany. The race debut of the Zagato happened in the 53rd ADAC ACAS H&R-Cup VLN race on the Nordschleife, a week after its launch. The model features a 6.0-liter V12 engine that was redesigned to be able to deliver 510 bhp and 570 Nm of torque. The Zagato has as base the V12 Vantage and despite of that, it has a completely new body kit and updated aerodynamics. Aston Martin gave the model a new front fascia, with a larger grille, vents for cooling the brakes, a rear diffuser, rear wing, a new bonnet that has gigantic air vents and new fenders with wider wheels arches. The starting price for the Zagato is GBP 330.000 (taxes not included) and apparently there will only be 150 units built. The production will start in about a year and who knows when deliveries will happen. The version that will be revealed at the Auto Show in Frankfurt is called the Zig and has a special green color.
