The 2012 Cadillac SRX has a lot of advantages. Apart from the StabiliTrak system that already helps preventing crashes, now the Auto Dry Brakes will remove water from brake components during wet driving conditions on the highway. This way the effectiveness during rainy conditions will be increased. This Auto Dry Brakes actually works with the SRX RainSense automatic windshield wiper system. Also it can work when the standard windshield wipers are operating and the car has been traveling over 20 mph without stop for more than 4 miles and didn't use the cruise control. The Auto Dry Brakes were created to apply pressure to all four wheels of the 2012 Cadillac SRX disc brakes every six kilometers, during this time the accelerator is applied. One of the engineers who participated in the development process declared that they've tried to make the braking system do its best. For this, the brakes have to be as dry as possible. Here is where the Auto Dry Brake shows face. The 2012 SRX costs $36.060 and features 308 horsepower and a 3.6-liter direct-injected V6 engine. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
