Nothing is for sure yet, but rumors say that the British carmaker, MINI is working on a limited edition. Also, the MotoringFile wrote that the model we're telling you about will be called Highgate and its being developed by MINI Yours. This division is the one that can increase a lot the price of a vehicle adding a lot of expensive features. The Highgate edition will be equipped both on the inside and the outside in a very special way. Even the paint for the exterior is called Ice Chocolate Metallic, so it has to be something really "delicious". For the interior, the carmaker decided on leather painted in Chocolate with white stitching for the contrast. MINI also offers automatic climate control, on-board computer, a sports leather steering wheel, fog lamps and Bluetooth with USB audio. The Highgate convertible will be released in only a few months, so in 2012 the model will be on sale, or so we've heard. About the price we can only tell you that it will be released in September, at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The engineers from MINI Yours developed another project before the Highgate, called the Hampton and was presented at the beginning of the year. You can find it in the UK and on other European markets. The price for the Cooper Hampton is GBP 20.360 and for the Cooper SD Clubman Hampton, GBP 23.185. The model has several standard features that include automatic climate control, fog lamps, sports leather steering wheel, a light package, a storage pack and Bluetooth with USB Audio. The list continues with Bi-Xenon headlights with black interior reflectors, MINI 50 Hampton and exclusive 17-inch Twin Spoke alloy wheels with center caps that incorporate a Damson Red lining.
